The Sikh Recovery Retreat is for men aged 18+ to explore a spiritually grounded approach to healing from alcohol addiction by integrating Sikh principles, community support, and holistic wellness practices. The retreat emphasizes Naam Simran, Seva, and Sangat, as core elements of recovery. Participants engage in daily discussions on Gurbani to help them cultivate inner strength, self-discipline, and a renewed sense of purpose.
The retreat also addresses addiction as both a physical and spiritual struggle – providing guidance on detaching from vices and creating resilience through a connection with the Divine. With the support of experienced facilitators, counsellors, and sangat, individuals are encouraged to embrace a life of Chardi Kala and reconnect with their authentic selves, free from dependency on substances.
